The Senior Business Analyst in Insurance Processes will operate within the Division of Global Core Application Platform for Generali Operations Service Platform (GOSP).
Initially involved into an ambitious international multi country “Core Insurance” IT program for all Lines of Business (Motor, P&C and Life and Claims), called Insurance In A Box (IIAB), he/she effective operates for a successful and timely implementation of the new Global Core Insurance Platform and, once the project will be realized, will have the possibility to be responsible for specific processes of the solution evolution.
Coordinate and manage one of the following insurance functional areas of expertise and governance. Overall competence areas: Life products and processes, Motor and P&C product and processes, Claims processes, Technical Accounting and IFRS17
Perform analysis, validation of business user requirements and solution design supervision becoming the functional expert focal point for customers and various project teams
Transform very high-level requirements into specific implementation strategies furthering multi-year solution roadmap, promoting the real Reuse and Industrialization as a mindset, maximizing the solution convergence in order to accelerate additional deliveries and reduce risks
Enable, implement and manage the IIAB project according to internal project management methodology and timeline
Promote and maintain a shared knowledge culture/vision about the common insurance solution through the availability of documentation which allows awareness and usability of the functionalities
Continuously improve and innovate implementing digital processes best practices and ensure compliance with all KPIs of the program
Work with and across other leaders, architects and implementation leads to ensure that a solution aligns and is consistent with both design guidelines and functional standards across different countries
Support the elaboration of user acceptance test plans and non-regression test plans in collaboration with users and Test IT teams
Manage and coordinate contracts changes, solution upgrades and change management in his/her functional area of expertise and governance
Support cause analysis for process gaps and improvement and to identify and resolve solution application related issues
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Master or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Economics or related field
Strong and proven experience on Insurance business and/or on implementation projects within the insurance sector with specific knowledge in:
Life products and processes and/or
Motor and P&C products and processes and/or
Claims processes and/or
Technical Accounting and IFRS17
Open minded, strong learning agility and problem-solving skills
Conduct and manage conversations with business stakeholders as well as technology teams
Autonomy and excellent organization of time management with focus on deadlines and project priorities in a high dynamic environment
Strong attitude to team working under “Agile” project implementation methodology
Nice to have:
Experience in project/ program to setup and integrate RGI PASS INSURANCE solution
Expertise in international program and project management
Good knowledge of Reinsurance and Coinsurance processes
Knowledge of a second language (i.e., ES, DE)
