What you will do

The objective of the position is to work inside S&A Electric Laboratory in Brugherio as Laboratory Engineer accountable to work mostly on Tests according to EN 60335-1,2-6 and EN 60350-1,-2.

Products in the scope: Electric Ovens, Induction Hobs, Radiant Hobs.

  • Knowledge & Governance of the key products attributes impacting test activities;
  • Execute the list of the testing activities to be executed for development, approval and certification phases and report out;
  • Report out the results of the tests to Stakeholders at the requested level of detail;
  • Interact with Codes Engineers and with Notified Bodies during Certification Sessions;
  • Interact with Renta S&A Lab Team to be sure to have alignment on test methods and test reports.

What you need to succeed

Must have

Education

Electrical Engineering / Electronic (3 years) or High School Graduated

Professional Experience

Preferably at least 3 years of experience in laboratory environment (not at first job)

Languages

Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken

Preferred qualifications & soft skills

Knowledge of international standard for electrical equipment (for ex. IEC 60335-1)

Ability to use the most common Lab tools (datalogger, power meter, power supply, thermocouples, etc..)

Ability to use the most common Office tools

Other

Propensity to occasional 1week transfers in Turkey (1/2months)
