Quality Control Engineer with a solid understanding of industrial, power or chemical plant quality control principles, and a deep desire to be an active contributor in the energy transition industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Constant liaison with suppliers to monitor all orders issued, keeping the procurement project plan up-to-date to ensure that shipments quality is adequate;
  • Perform Inspection and expediting visit at vendors/sub-vendors workshop, and create inspection and expediting reports according to department standard;
  • Manage and/or support technical quality alignment meeting pre and post order (i.e. pre-inspection meeting) and manage related inspection notification (if any);
  • Check and review quality and expediting project documentation issued by vendors;
  • Support supply chain and other department on technical topics during project execution;
  • Manage internal and external NCR aspects including creation, discussion and closure;
  • Manage material releasing activities by collaborating with logistic dept;
  • Prepare and manage inspection and expeditor assignment pack, including assignment tasks;
  • Be proactive to suggest curative actions to vendor to speed up activities;
  • Monitor Vendor informing promptly about any potential issues or delays;
  • Coordinate external consultants and local inspectors and expeditors for inspection visits and be the contact key person for inspectors;
  • Manage correspondence with suppliers, file and forward relevant documentation (inspection plans, test reports, non-conformities, certification, material and packaging photographs, critical issues) to internal and external functions;
  • Prepare and manage final documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree is a plus;
  • Proven experience in the role, possibly developed within industrial (Oil&Gas, Energy or similar) contexts;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively and decisively;
  • Languages: Italian + fluency in professional English;
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad is mandatory;
  • A genuine interest in clean technologies and energy transition.
