Your Challenges:  

 As a Senior/Expert Mechanical Structural Engineer your specialization is in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical structures. This role involves a combination of mechanical engineering principles and structural engineering concepts to ensure the integrity, safety, and functionality of various structures and components. You will be part of a broader multi-disciplinary engineering team and will be asked to coordinate Junior Mechanical Engineers and facilitate their professional development. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Structural Design: Develop detailed designs and specifications for mechanical structures, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, materials, and environmental conditions;
  • Analysis and Simulation: Perform structural analysis and simulation using engineering software to ensure that designs meet safety and performance standards. Analyze and interpret test data to refine designs;
  • Standard Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, and regulations in the design and construction of aerospace mechanical structures; 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Systems engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs; 
  • Prototype Development: Participate in the development and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement;
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders;
  • Technical Management: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams. 

Who are we looking for:  

We are looking for candidates with a well round experience in Mechanical Engineering activities, policies and methodologies as well as the needed soft skills to effectively manage stakeholders, work in team, supervise junior professionals and nurture their professional development. 


You will have:   

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field preferably in the Aerospace sector;
  • Strong proficiency in engineering software for structural analysis and design, i.e. Catia V4/v5 & Siemens NX + Hypermesh & Nastran/Patran ;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities; 
  • Experience in driving and supporting activities of other Engineers and external suppliers/customers;  
  • Fluent English (written/spoken)  .


  • 4/8 years of experience in the design and analysis of mechanical structures; 
  • Experience with project management and coordination; 
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
