What you will do
The Global Commodity Manager is responsible for all strategic aspects related to Electronics Purchasing globally.


Main Activities

  • Optimize global commodity strategy for assigned commodity and optimize global supplier base
  • Analyze the Global market trend of Electronics ( either components or PCBA ) and create internal analysis reporting
  • Research potential vendors and compare their products, prices, and services
  • Analyzing cost and performance data
  • Budget preparation analysis and targets settings in line with company strategy
  • Managing and monitoring saving projects for the specified products.
  • Support and lead a team of global buyers located in different regions
  • Negotiate global contracts and pricing.
  • Lead supplier sourcing and development, risk monitoring, performance and compliance
  • Lead the preparation of whole contract management
  • Define and implement the global purchasing strategy for the commodities managed , implement improvement processes, optimize and streamline sourcing activities
  •  Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the Sourcing strategy implementation
  • Support and lead a team of global buyers located in different regions



What you need to succeed
Must Have

  • Degree in engineering or business management, with Industrial Experience
  • At least 7/8 years of experience as Commodity Manager in Electronics (components or PCBA ) field in large manufacturing or multi-industry global organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Excellent Knowledge of the Electronics commodity and suppliers
  • Excellent skills of negotiation
  • Willing to travel for business ( APAC included )



Nice to have

  • Knowlwdge of italian
