DT Operations Specialist – Service Now

What you will do

This Position will report to the DT Application Service Manager and collaborate with the rest of the team in adopting, supporting and configurating the Service Now platform. The candidate will help the Operational Excellence team to set the technological direction of the Service Now platform.

ACTIVITIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Knowledge and experience in ITSM process (Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, …)
  • Works with the ServiceNow Platform architects and Delivery team in case of new development of ServiceNow applications and configurations.
  • Responsible for process-oriented development of ServiceNow ITSM applications and interfaces from concept drafting, requirements gathering, solution design, development, UAT, implementation, to qualified documentation.
  • Support teams on design, development, and overall best practice configuration of ServiceNow.
  • Assists others in resolving technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommends SMART solutions.
  • Participates in ongoing planning and review related to active projects and tasks.
  • Documents/Maintains functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business use cases.
  • Monitors and optimizes the health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow ITSM products.

What you need to succeed

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCES

Must have

  • ITIL certification;
  • Experience with custom application development in ServiceNow
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication  & interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to details, goal-oriented & should know how to adapt to changing requirement;

Education

  • Degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.

Professional Experience

  • Almost 2 years of experience in ServiceNow Platform administration;

Languages

  • Fluent English

Soft skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in team.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
